We came up with this for a project a while ago, and thought it might be useful if you use After Effects. It divides the screen up into 7 frames, into which you can put video, stills or whatever you want, and it works out where everything should go so that you don’t get any gaps.

Download the file: NoMagnolia_Mondrian.aep (ZIP file, CC 2017.2 format). This has been updated to also include a “Show UI Elements” tickbox on the main Control null, which turns the numbers and spacers on and off.
